Zeb was born in Italy in 1969. He began playing guitar at age 9 and formed his first band at age 13. When he was 15 he moved to England. He lived in Brixton for 2 years, where he got into dub-reggae and ska.

In 86/87 he played in funk rock and reggae bands around Ladbroke Grove. In '88 he got into sampling/programming break beats, dub bass lines & acid sounds.

In later years, he worked with composers like Scientist and Future Sounds Of London. He joined The Indians in '92 and moved to the U.S. in '93. The Indians’ first (and last) album, "Indianism", was produced by Dave Jerden (Alice In Chains, Jane's Addiction). Two songs from the album appeared on the soundtracks for the films "Kalifornia" and "Reality Bites".

Zeb split with The Indians in '94. In '96 he joined Organic Grooves (a collaboration of DJ's and musicians) and later released two of his own (trip hop dub) tracks on Extra Records.
